I think this is the camera you get. It has a larger sensor than most digital cameras, points, has 14 megapixels (although sort of) hyperbole, a wide-angle lens, and it is open and shutter-priority, with this very loose guide. Most digital cameras do not open and shutter-priority, especially in the compact format is ISO Nikon has a very high and ranges from 80 to 3200 E 6400 and even ISO 12,800. I do not know is whether the images can be found in the ISO so high, used but not yet know any other point and shoot camera that can be as high. And the new Nikon EXPEED image processing. Overall I think it looks like a very nice camera.

Another camera that I can see whether the Canon PowerShot SD990.

So I really can not go wrong buying a Nikon P & S.

Take a look at the data, then go into a store and test it with an SD memory card ... then take the card home and watch the results on the big screen. If you do not have a camera that you want to test it, too.

TESTS:
* High and low ISO
* The largest and longest optical zoom
* Focus
* Automatic white balance and precision

The specification search is certainly a good thing, but it is to spend much money on a disposable camera. At this price you are always close to a D40.

Better images and more flexibility in the D40.

If you have a point and shoot. This is probably a better buy:
